Inspiration Day

The Mass Timber Academy’s core event programme for 2020 opens with ‘Inspiration Day’ - a full-day, conference that explores all of the solid laminate timber systems currently available and their potential value to a future circular economy. Each technology is examined through the eyes of architects, engineers, manufacturers and contractors, with multiple case studies of seminal mass timber buildings setting the scene for more detailed technical scrutiny in the six ‘Intrapreneur Intensive’ events that follow at monthly intervals.

 

The Inspiration Day ticket is your introduction to the Mass Timber Academy structured programme of continuing professional education (CPE) sessions that run from February to November 2020. The eight core events are designed to provide participants with in-depth understanding of all available solid laminate timber systems and lead to the imprimatur and enhanced professional status of ‘Timber Intrapreneur’. This one-day event is designed to whet the appetite of architects and engineers to know more about the potential design opportunities presented by the use of mass timber products and systems but also act as an introduction to the subject for participants not yet ready to undertake the full Timber Intrapreneur programme.
