Timber Intrapreneur Programme
8-month programme embracing ‘8 Intrapreneur Intensive’ sessions (one per month)
The Mass Timber Academy's 'Timber Intrapreneur programme is designed to 'train the trainers' - the person or people in offices tasked with disseminating up to date knowledge and onformation on all aspects of mass timber design and construction to the colleagues. The objective is to build the knowledge and skill capacity throughout the architecture and strcutural engineering professions and provide businesses with demonstrable evidence to clients of their services in this field.
The year-long programme embraces -
Eight ‘Intrapreneur Intensive’ sessions designed to provide in-depth understanding of the manufacture, design, installation and performance of each solid laminate timber system. The sessions take place on a monthly basis and are delivered by leading architects, engineers, sector specialists and contractors.
Regular provision of up-to-date detailed information on critical issues (fire, moisture and sound) affecting their application.
Online consultations with mass timber manufacturers and associated specialist suppliers of, e.g connections and fixings, fire mitigation.
Guidance on dissemination techniques and support materials where appropriate.
